A lovely simple dessert with a refreshing taste. A perfect end to a summer menu.
Serves 2 to 4
1 punnet of fresh ripe strawberries
100 grams or 4 oz of flaked almonds
A handful of fresh mint
Rinse the strawberries and cut in half.
Heat a non-stick frying pan over a medium heat. Once the pan is hot, add the flaked almonds and gently toast until a light golden brown. Allow to cool.
Chop the mint and mix all the ingredients together in a bowl. Serve immediately.
