Salmon Steaks with tropical fruit salsa recipe

A healthy eating idea.

A great light recipe that tastes fantastic and is low in fat.

Share with friends on a warm summer evening. These salmon steaks can also be packed and taken cold on a picnic.

 

Ingredients List:

2 Salmon Steaks
Juice of 1 Lime
1 mango
1 papaya
1 very small pineapple
1 chilli
black pepper

Instructions:

Drizzle the lime juice over the Salmon Steaks and allow them to marinade for 1 hour.

In a seperate bowl, cube all the fruit as if you were making a fruit salad. Now deseed and finely chop the chilli and add to the fruit compote. Refridgerate until required.

Grill the steaks on both sides until cooked and serve with the fruit, sprinkled with lots of black pepper. - Serves 2.
