Cheesecake can be created with all sorts of nasty additives to make it very low fat, but why fill your mouth with chemicals? Try this simple low fat recipe using ordinary ingredients instead. We think this is the best of all the low-fat recipes for cheesecake we have ever tasted.
80g reduced fat biscuit crumbs
1 tablespoon cooking oil
2 egg whites
200g low fat cream cheese
1 lemon
Mix the oil and crumbs together to make a biscuit base which should be pressed into a flan tin.
Whip the egg whites into a stiff meringue and fold in the cream cheese and lemon juice. Now place this on top of the base and bake on a low heat for 20 minutes.
